I was wondering if you have a local contact with some knowledge of the family name who could be of assistance to me as I have traced my family back a few generations but am getting rather stuck!

I have seen you're message on the Glemsford Website. I am a Slater who used to live in Glemsford. Most of my family still do. How far have you got in your research?
