History is made of you and me
Slowly, and almost accidentally, this site is beginning to reveal several aspects of Glemsford's past, through the eyes of a variety of witnesses, and through a limited range of sources.
Now seems as good a time as ever to link all these sections into a single page, so that readers and visitors can browse fairly painlessly and, perhaps, make some comparisons. If any of you reading this have more pages to contribute, please let me know. The work done so far deals with the village up to about 1945, but there is always room for thoughts about the second half of the 20th Century, to link up with the Day in May project. |
